Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) 🌽🌽🌽🍿

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicks off the journey to the next big Avengers story with an entertaining but nothing special bang.

It’s another perfectly fine Marvel movie with all the Marvel storytelling beats you’ve come to expect. While that’s fine and entertaining, it fails to stand out amongst the crowd, even against Ant-man’s stand-alone

Paul Rudd is funny as usual, but honestly, everything kind of fails to stand out. We even have Bill Murray for a scene and it’s just… fine. A little better than fine because I still quite enjoyed the film, but it’s a crowded space.

Now for the elephant in the room. M.O.D.O.K was f***ing awful to look at. To be fair, go ahead and look at its comic version it’s always ugly, but what they did for this one was just funky looking.

Although *spoilers? I did enjoy who M.O.D.O.K was and how it ties up the past

Overall when attending Quantumania expect to see a Marvel movie. There’s no other way I can put it. It’s fun, enjoyable, funny, has a nice rallying moment and the good guys win. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

But Quantumania fails to stand out amongst the crowd, sadly.
