Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicks off the journey to the next big Avengers story with an entertaining but nothing special bang.
Itās another perfectly fine Marvel movie with all the Marvel storytelling beats youāve come to expect. While thatās fine and entertaining, it fails to stand out amongst the crowd, even against Ant-manās stand-alone
Paul Rudd is funny as usual, but honestly, everything kind of fails to stand out. We even have Bill Murray for a scene and itās just⦠fine. A little better than fine because I still quite enjoyed the film, but itās a crowded space.
Now for the elephant in the room. M.O.D.O.K was f***ing awful to look at. To be fair, go ahead and look at its comic version itās always ugly, but what they did for this one was just funky looking.
Although *spoilers? I did enjoy who M.O.D.O.K was and how it ties up the past
Overall when attending Quantumania expect to see a Marvel movie. Thereās no other way I can put it. Itās fun, enjoyable, funny, has a nice rallying moment and the good guys win. If it aināt broke donāt fix it.
But Quantumania fails to stand out amongst the crowd, sadly.
