Now since it’s a doc, there really isn’t anything to critique with plot and all that, so I debated posting a Twitter review. But honestly this was too good to not publicly praise. Peter Jackson cut this footage in the perfect way
And whatever team of people that was responsible for restoring and updating the footage deserve a massive bonus. The footage was gorgeous! And shout out to the 1969 crew they made excellent choices in what was filmed. Gave Jackson and company a masterpiece to work with
The doc is the Beatles recording “Let It Be” there's drama along the way but everything culminates in their iconic rooftop concert. Do yourself a favor, watch it. Get a whole new appreciation for the most important band in the history of music. I said it.
