Somehow this show had slipped past my radar, but if you’re like me and have never seen the show, there is still plenty of meat on the plate for all to enjoy.
The animation is unique and gorgeous, the story has heart and silly, the one liners are good… mostly. Fans of the show probably appreciate this movie a lot more, however it succeeds in making this non-viewer want to check out what he’s been missing.
The humor style is very droll and if it’s not your thing, then this movie probably won’t be yours. However, this comedy style has always been a favorite of mine. So gene’s one-liners (most of em) hit and Bob’s weary monotone resonate in this ear of corn
Bob’s burgers has great animation. Truly much better than I expected. And it was much funnier as well. Not every joke lands, and the story is fine. But I laughed and I was sucked in. The important parts of a great comedy movie. Getting the audience to laugh and care.
