Fun, witty, heart, visually pleasing, Thor Love and Thunder hits all the notes fans should expect. Taika Waititi continues to be a personal favorite comedic writer and director for this corn, as his wit shines through Thor in his second go
It’s an excellent summer good time movie and is exactly everything I expected. There’s one bit that was a bit too corny for me, BUT it does not take away from my overall enjoyment
Waititi’s comedic style is once again all over this movie. And I for one am very glad he took over Thor. Ragnorak and now Love and Thunder give us a fun Thor that I find quite enjoyable.
Jane’s back. And obviously the heart of the story is Thor’s coming to terms with his feelings for Jane Foster. But shout out to Natalie Portman as the Mighty Thor. It was a welcome sight seeing her back in the MCU
Christian Bale’s performance as Gorr the God Butcher immediately climbs the very long list of MCU villains. Bale is a top top quality actor and his performance is unsettling and very good.
Overall it’s a Marvel movie hitting the marvel movie notes. Love and Thunder is visually unique enough to stand out with that Waititi writing style differentiate it enough from the others of the MCU. It isn’t perfect, but it’s perfectly fun
