Halloween (2018) 🌽🌽🌽🌽

David Gordon Green’s turn at the helm of this iconic franchise does not disappoint and feels like it was made by someone who loves the original and the genre. This movie hits all the right marks and unapologetically brings the tension back to Halloween

Halloween (2018) does not disappoint for those of us fans of the original and of that classic horror style and doesn’t fall into the modern trappings other reboots can’t help but fall into. Synth stabs, practical gore, this movie does an excellent job of not doing too much

Jamie Lee Curtis returns 40 years later and delivers a believable performance as someone who is still struggling with the horrific events of the first. As the movie tensions at the end it’s clear that she’s just as obsessed with killing him as he her…

I mean, why else would she leave the bunker?

There is only one thing I can fault this movie for, and I know I said this movie would get a if it didn’t happen… But the asshole boyfriend didn’t die. Like what are we doooiiing here!

You may clearly love this genre and series, Mr. Green but c’mon! We can’t forget the tropes! Boyfriends MUST. DIIIEEEEE

Anyways watch the 1978 Halloween then go watch this one. You won’t regret it. Ya know unless nightmares plague you. Then don’t watch horror movies, c’mon make good choices!
