This instantly becomes one of my favorite Christmas movies. This bombastic retelling of the Charles Dickens’ classic is hilarious, over-the-top and yet heartfelt. Scrooged deserves to be on your watchlist
We all know the story of Scrooge. We all know a Christmas Carol there's at least 32 versions of it. This is at least my second favorite (it’s hard to top the muppets) but if you love yourself some Bull Murray you’re gonna love this movie
Everyone in this movie delivers a wonderful performance. Special shout out to the Ghost of Christmas Past (David Johansen) and the Christmas Present (Carol Kane.) they were fantastic and hilarious
If you’re looking to mix it up from the romcom, throw this on. Yes there’s a love interest but it’s a backseat to the bombastic comedy. Scrooged is an excellent holiday change of pace that I think my readers will quite enjoy. And if you don’t. BAH HUMBUG
