(Yeah I’m adding games I finish on stream over at @OffTheHusk and RoboCobb )
The Last of Us is a masterpiece of storytelling and gameplay and I don’t really know what else I can say. I should have played this years ago
At the heart of this post-apocalypse game is a story of growth and survival at any costs between the grizzled Joel and the young Ellie. Two polar opposite world views that blend together in the classic, but perfect father-daughter figure, where each learn and grow from the other
Gameplay this game is smooth as silk. Rarely if ever did it feel clunky, and once I adjusted to the mechanics and using a PS controller, nothing felt hard to control. I did get lost a few times. I wish the “hey idiot over here” hint would trigger faster buuuut. That’s nothing
There’s a reason it got remastered so quickly. There’s a reason it’s award winning. It’s an incredible story, the perfect length, smooooooth, and visually stunning.
Stop stalling and play it if you haven’t yet.
